Groups banding together to fight increase in postal rates

Affordable Mail Alliance members are pushing hard to ensure that new postage fee hikes are not signed, sealed and delivered. More than two dozen associations have teamed up with others in a new cooperative effort that is vigorously opposing the rate hikes recently proposed by the U.S. Postal Service. The Affordable Mail Alliance, which came into being earlier this month to challenge the suggested increases, is a coalition of trade associations, nonprofits and private companies.
